We received quotes from many other companies but chose Ashpark because they could do the work quickly and could fix it no matter what needed to be done (We were really trying to fix the problem without digging). Everyone really seemed to understand our situation and was very nice to us starting with the person who answered the phone when we first called. When the representative came from Ashpark, he explained everything to me and let me ask any questions I had without making me feel like I was bothering him. The work was completed very quickly, with very little mess. Upon completion I was shown what had been done. He even ran the hose at the site of the leak for 10 minutes and the basement stayed dry! We moved in to a 20 year old home in 2000. The foundation is made of cinder block. In the home inspection, water damage was noted in the basement, however, the source was not clear. It quickly became apparent that we had water seeping through our foundation in multiple locations. Ashpark’s recommendations were to excavate the exterior and apply a waterproof membrane on the outside wall and to replace the weeping tile. Approximately 80 feet of the foundation was excavated. Although it was messy ordeal given the amount of time it takes for the excavated soil to settle, it was well worth the hassle. We were bone dry for about 10 years. Unfortunately, in the Fall of 2010, our basement began to leak in one location. A few phones call later to Ashpark, and the problem was completely rectified. Ashpark sent a crew to the house and excavated and repaired a small section of the foundation that had begun to leak. No hassles, no fighting and best of all no charge. Ashpark stands behind their work and they made it right. I would highly recommend using Ashpark if you have a wet basement.

I did my homework before selecting them to repair a crack in my foundation wall, but what convinced me was not the price or the turn-around time. I called Pierre in a panic. My house was sold conditionally and the home inspector found a small basement leak. I had 24 hours to resolve the problem or have the deal fall through. Floor Drain Ashpark did some work for me a few months earlier and everything was good with the repairs they made. However, after some recent rains I found some new foundation leaks in the same general area (we hadn’t closed the wall back in yet luckily). We have a lot of clay soil and some exterior grading and drainage issues that are creating some chronic leakage issues. After getting a few opinions I called Pierre to get his assessment. After troubleshooting, he quoted me a couple of options along with his recommendation which was in-line with another reco I received. We decided on installing a trench drain along the wall with a waterproof barrier that would control any foundation seepage and direct it below the floor. Pierre and his team arrived, ensured I was clear on the work that was going to be done and did it quickly and efficiently and cleaned up well. Hopefully that’s the end of my leakage issues for good. Basement foundation sediment crack repair My house in Alliston is sold and closing is in 1 week. The buyers had an inspection done and found 2 sediment cracks in the basement foundation. It is an unfinished basement. Looked on the internet for basement crack repair companies, got a hold of Pierre from Ashpark and I was able to book an appointment within 2 days. Pierre was extremely responsive, was able to fit us in the next day, and proceeded to install a new vertical drain tied into the weeping tiles. He also addressed the same problem in the other window well to ensure it never backed up. He even worked with our roofer to caulk some higher risk areas around the house to ensure there was no further risk of water ingress. The area was left tidy and clean afterwards as well. Easy enough except that it ran on the wall where my stairs are and the stringer was butt up against it. I went online and did a search for foundation repair and Ashpark was the first hit. It has become a habit to look at reviews of whatever I am looking to spend money on and after reading reviews on google reviews and homestars I gave Pierre a call. I got lucky and caught him and his team on the way back from another job that was nearby. I gave him a real vague description of the job I needed done and from that he assessed it(estimated time and material), priced it and then asked if I wanted it completed within the next hour!!! I have never had work done that did not require waiting days for someone to come and assess a job then waiting a month, with no set date, for the job to be done. So 15 minutes later he arrives, sets up his work area and goes to work. The issue I mentioned at the start of this post with the stringer seemed to be no issue at all for him. Another noteable observation was he had his assistant clean up and take out gear he no longer needed during the job which shows professionalism. I believe he was just over an hour in and out, did a solid job with a 25 year warranty. Thank you for the great job. Definitely Recommend Pierre and will not think twice about using him again. They provided me information over the phone, they came over to my house to look at the cracks I had in my foundation and show me the options that were available for leak prevention. Oshawa guys were very fast at setting up an appointment as I was scheduled to have other work done and didn’t have much time. They were able to pull in some more guys to complete the job in time and cleaned up everything they had worked on. The great thing is is that everything was explained to me in detail and I knew what to expect. The guys also made sure that they put sheets down so that flooring wouldn’t get walked on. This consultation was very thorough: Pierre walked me around my house, pointing out possible issues of concern (tuck-pointing, gaps, etc.) and gave very helpful tips. Then in-house, he thoroughly explained the sources of my leak (saturated water table under the house) and what they planned to do to repair it. The next day, Pierre & his team were out, on time and got to work right away to break open the floor, and install a pump as a temporary measure until the ground was suitable to work on. The showed me every step of the way what they were doing and why, which was very helpful. The repair was completed the next weekend (due to excessive water buildup under the house). Again, they showed up promptly, performed an excellent installation of a new sump-pump system and kept me in the loop as they worked. Parts & labour are first-rate, and the cement patch work was perfect.
